Help & SOS
Emergency
If there is a bite injury, suspected poisoning, heatstroke or difficulty breathing: get help immediately.
If a person is hurt: emergency number 112 (in Switzerland also 144). For your dog: straight away to the vet practice or an animal clinic with an emergency service.
More about emergenciesFirst aid for everyday problems, and honest pointers on when a professional can help more than an app. Everything here is free, no sign-up needed.

When to see a professional?
If it doesn’t get better, starts suddenly or worries you: a professional can look at your dog. An app can’t do that.
Questions about Kroki and your subscription
How much time do I need each day?
From 5 minutes a day. In the questionnaire you choose 5, 10 or 15+ minutes, and your plan follows that. Rest days are part of it.
Does Kroki help with nipping, house training or pulling on the lead?
There are dedicated steps for that. If you pick a topic in the questionnaire, the matching exercises move further up in your plan. First aid for today is free under “Help & SOS”.
What age is Kroki for?
Mainly for puppies, and adult dogs are just as welcome. If your puppy hasn’t moved in yet, you start with “Before arrival”. For puppies, socialisation runs alongside; with an adult dog you work through the basics at your own pace.
Why not just watch videos?
Videos usually show a single exercise. Kroki puts the exercises in an order that suits your dog, shows each one as a short drawing with the typical mistake next to it, and tells you when you’re ready for the next step.
What if an exercise doesn’t work?
Then you make it easier: every exercise has an easier version, and Kroki offers it to you. Mistakes are information, not failure.
Can the whole family join in?
Yes. One subscription covers your whole household. You practise together on the device your subscription runs on. Kroki remembers who practised, and every session counts towards the weekly goal.
What does Kroki cost?
Monthly or yearly, as a final price. One subscription covers your whole household. You see your price after the questionnaire, together with your plan, and once more right before you order.
Can I look at Kroki before I buy?
Yes. After the questionnaire you see your plan with the first steps and try an exercise straight away. Only then do you decide whether to subscribe.
How do I cancel?
Via the “Cancel contracts here” link at the very bottom of our website, or in the app under Profile → Subscription. You don’t need to log in for this. The monthly subscription ends at the end of the current billing month. You can cancel the yearly subscription during the 12 months already; it then ends after the 12 months.
What happens after the 12 months of the yearly subscription?
If you don’t cancel, it continues monthly at one twelfth of the yearly price per month (rounded down), and you can then cancel at the end of any month. It does not renew for another year. We remind you by email at least 30 days before the end.
Can I withdraw from the contract?
In Germany and Austria you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Use “Withdraw from contract” at the very bottom of our website; you don’t need to log in. What you get back is explained on the “Refunds” page. In Switzerland there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online contracts.
Does Kroki replace a dog school or the vet?
Kroki is for practising at home every day and fits well alongside a puppy class or dog school. We ourselves are not dog trainers and not vets. For biting, growling, strong fear or sudden changes, your dog needs professionals. Our safety pages tell you where to find help, and they are always free.
Is Kroki available in Austria and Switzerland too?
Yes. Prices in euros or francs, and notes on the rules in your federal state or canton.
Why no daily streak?
Dogs learn well with breaks. That is why we count training days per week. Rest days are allowed, and we never show a missed week.
